The whole thing about Saltrock then was tie-dye t-shirts. We were dyeing t-shirts in the front room there were just reams of washing lines of tees, washing machines, and tumble dryers; we were just living the dream really. You’d see people locally wearing our tees, then we gave them out to surfers because we didn’t know then how to do marketing but it just spread. Even today it feels good to see people wearing it.”
