Four friends embark on a road trip in a trusty van affectionally named Barry, little did they know their journey in Portugal would have a few surprises.
Cruising down the winding road, Barry busted a gut and stopped at the top of the road.
The four joked, with one saying, “Barry won’t break down”.
Sighing but determined not to let this dampen their spirits they pushed Barry back to life.

The Beauty of Portugal's Beaches
Andrei pointed to a beach in the distance and off they went. Heading to the beach is like hitting the reset button. There’s something about it, that makes you feel free.
Pulling out their throw, flask, and Four Seasons they ran to the waves.

Rolling Through Algarve
After some time taking in their surroundings, the journey continued onward through the winding roads of sunny Algarve.
They stumbled upon this massive hill, “I mean it was something out of a skater's dream - long, steep, and gnarly” says Lenka.
Someone throws out the idea of skating down this monster of a hill. And of course, Lenka takes on the challenge. She reaches the top, there's a split-second of silence, like a calm before the storm, Sam yells "Go!" and she’s off like a shot.

Rainy Day Hikes in Portugal
Pressing on it was decided it was time for a change, heading to a forest trail. The sky decided to throw a curveball, the heavens opened and the four grabbed their macs and sheltered amongst the eucalyptus/pine trees.

Galao and Good Times: Our Unexpected Café Find
Taking refuge, they stumbled upon a charming café where the aroma of freshly brewed Galao stirred them inside. They sipped rich espresso and indulged in Portuguese tarts and swapped stories and laughter.
Gaby declared that this impromptu break has been the highlight of the journey for her.

Drinks at Dusk: Leaving Barry's Breakdown in the Past, Embracing the Present
Watching the sunset, enjoying a drink, and talking about the day…. even Barry breaking down seems like a lifetime ago.
Here’s your reminder that the sun is beginning to set later in the evenings, you can almost taste the anticipation in the air—the barbecues, the beach trips, the lazy evenings spent adventuring with friends.
