A packed house watches the World Premiere of Andrew Cotton’s ‘Behind the Lines: Deeper’

This weekend saw the world premiere of Andrew Cotton’s latest film ‘Behind the Lines: Deeper’ show to a packed house at The Landmark Theatre in Ilfracombe.

‘Behind the Lines’ is Cotty’s project documenting his global search for monster waves with filmmaker Mikey Corker. ‘Deeper’ is an epic film getting up close to the highs and lows of big wave surfing, an incredible sport not many people will ever experience first hand.

The official premiere is in London at Red Bull Studios on Wednesday 23rd September, but typically Cotty wanted to show a premiere locally so his friends and family and local supporters could join the party.

He sold tickets and donated all the money raised to Croyde Surf Club to support their dream of building a new clubhouse.

Modest as always Cotty was worried nobody would turn up, but unsurprisingly the theatre was packed.

He was stoked with the response.

“It was amazing seeing all our hard word over the past year come together, and to watch it on the big screen with all my friend and supporters of the project was a dream. Mikey did an amazing job, it's all about team work and I'm really fortunate to have a great crew of friends, family and sponsors which make all of this possible.”

He’s also stoked that the night raised £600 for Croyde Surf Clubhouse.

Well done Cotty – we can’t wait for the next film!
