Basking SHark

Weighing anything up to 7 tonnes, it feeds on animal plankton, filtering 1,000 to 2,000 cubic metres of seawater per hour to extract its tiny prey. During the summer months, it favours Cornish, Devon, Manx, Irish and Scottish waters as its regular feeding grounds.

Mako Shark

Upper Body surface cobalt blue with a white underside. Has single longitudinal keel on the side of the tail root.

Thresher Shark

Upper body dark brown to grey with paler to white underside. The elongated tail is equivalent in length to the main body of the shark

Blue Shark

Upper body is cobalt blue with a white belly.
The characteristic of this shark is the long pectoral fins which allows the Blue Shark to glide along the ocean currents.
